Perfect Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Bread

Oh, Autumn, you have my heart. Cooler weather means cozy sweaters and pumpkin everything. I love all things pumpkin spice, but my most favorite is this bumpkin bread.

I can't say enough good things about this recipe. It's sweet, but the semisweet chocolate and spices balance everything just right. It is truly pumpkin spice perfection.

You will need:
2 cups pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling)
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and lightly flour two loaf pans. Mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, and sugars. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients, then gradually sift dry mixture into pumpkin while stirring. Fold in Chocolate chips. Divide evenly into two bread loaf pans, bake for 55-65 minutes. Allow to cool for five minutes before removing from pans. Allow to cool completely.
