Fun, Easy and Kid-Friendly Halloween food | part one

Halloween is such a fun time! There are so many parties to attend and fun activities do. I especially love all the weird and gross looking food. If you are looking for something a little extra to serve to your family and friends, you have come to the right place. Here are a few of our favorite Spoooooooky eats!

Creepy Eyeballs and Worms
Spooky eyeballs served over Earthworm spaghetti and a side of witch finger breadsticks.  The tastiest and creepy Halloween party food.

2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, finely minced
2 teaspoons garlic
1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1 cup chicken broth
2 eggs
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce, divided
4-6 sticks String Cheese, cut into quarters
sliced black olives
1 pkg. (1 lb.) spaghetti

HEAT oven to 375ºF.
MIX meat, stuffing mix, water, eggs, and 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce. Shape into 16 (2-inch) meatballs. Insert 1 cheese piece into top of each meatball, with the end of cheese piece just showing at the top. Place on baking sheet. Top each with an olive slice to resemble an eyeball.
BAKE 20 to 25 min. or until meatballs are done (160ºF). Meanwhile, cook and color spaghetti noodle with food coloring or beet juice and heat remaining spaghetti sauce as directed on package and jar.
DRAIN spaghetti. Serve topped with meatballs and sauce.
These meatballs were SO yummy!

Our Ogre Fingers breadsticks were so simple.  I just bought a package of Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust. I unrolled it and coated it with a mixture of 1 Tb. Butter, one Tb. Mayo, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 2 TB. parmesan cheese, I added neon green food coloring to make them extra spooky. Then I baked them at 425 for 10 minutes.

Jack-o-Lantern Cuties
looking for something even easier? Try these cuties with jack-o-lantern faces drawn on with a sharpie marker. Simple. Cute. Healthy!

Finger Dogs
Creepy Fingers on a Bun Halloween Party Food
Make Creepy Fingers on a Bun! Basically, they're just hot dogs with fingernails and knuckles cut out. This is such a weird and funny way to serve hot dogs on Halloween. To step up the gross factor, add ketchup to look like blood!
